1. What is inductance?

Inductance is a property of closed magnetic circuit and a physical quantity.When the coil passes through the current, a magnetic induction is formed in the coil, which in turn generates an induced current to resist the current passing through the coil.This interaction between the current and the coil is called electrical reactance, or inductance, after the American scientist Joseph Henry.
